It was rare to have some theme-like special restaurants opened around the area of Seri Kembangan, a near-to-town Hakka Kampung Cina. Not saying that Seri Kembangan was a rural-like undeveloped area, in fact, it has plenty of home-based nice Chinese food as well as the branches of the hyper-restaurants.
When I first saw Butter Up, what makes me stunted is the design of this restaurant, a refreshing Holland countryside style. With the wooden decoration and blue-white cotton sofa seats, the restaurant gives a tone of cosy and warm feelings, which is a very good place to have the gathering with family and friends.
The food overall is nice and delicious. Counting are the western sandwiches, salads, pastas, and pizzas. The prices are moderate, ranged from RM 6 ++ to RM 21 ++.
Smoked salmon sandwich (RM 11.00) |
Mummy best choice's for kids (RM 13.00) |
Smoked salmon lies on pizza (RM 21.00) |
Riped tomatoes on the beach (RM 6.80) |
Pasta - Chicken eats tomato (RM 12.90) |
Pasta - Creamy chicken (RM 13.90) |
These are the best seller drinks, the chef makes them freshly everyday into the big junks. I especially love the Summer Lemonade, very refreshing.
Left: Summer lemonade (RM 5.00), Right : Seasonal lemonade (RM 5.00) |
They are using Illy coffee, which is one of the famous brands. The cappuccino is served with finger cookie, an adorable spoon-shaped and taste like digestive biscuits. Nice!
Cappuccino (RM 6.80) |
There is a bakery corner selling healthy artisan breads. I especially love the honey milk bread, however this bread is only on sale occasionally.
Cake section. What I can say is, their cakes still need a big room to improve the texture taste but the outlooks are attractive. |
