[Food] Quick Bites, a Vietnamese-style café @Pavillion KL

Pavillion KL has recently renovated  and opened a new food stores corner in Level 1 (food court level). One of the eye-catching new food store is Quick Bites, a Vietnamese-style food café. With offering of the no MSG, freshly prepared, and processed-meat-free concept, it is especially outstanding in the eyes of those shoppers who pursuing healthier living standard near to the area.

The "Bahn mi" (Vietnamese name of sandwich) is combining the meat filling with the French baguette. They taste even better than the commercial Subway sandwiches, honestly.

Our order was the best-seller "Lemongrass chicken sandwich" (A la carte price RM 11.80). The french baguette is crispy followed by the soft chewy crumb, obvious of its freshness (I could say it must be made on the same day). The meat filling is topped with some vegetables such as slices carrots, jalapeño peppers, pickled daikon, coriander together with the mayo sauce. I love the combination of the vegetables to give the unique savory taste to the filling.

The drink comes together with the combo set of meal (RM 12.80). You can choose either peach iced tea (Ala carte price RM 5.00), red tea soya (Ala carte price RM 5.00), or mineral water. We ordered the red tea soya, surprising impressed by the sugarless healthy taste, though it might be too plain for some of the Malaysian who loves sweet. However, I personally enlighten by the less-sweet drink.

A little bit imperfect is that the place didn't offer any seats for a stop of eating. They serves the famous vietnamese cold noodle too but in a take-away package only.

Vietnamese noodles (ranged from RM 11.80 - RM 15.00).

Unlike to the other Vietnamese food in Malaysia, Quick Bite aimed a majority of public by not selling the non-halal pork meat. Well, it's a good attempt to serve more coverage of customers.
